This vintage 1973 Rolex Sea-Dweller remains a strong example of the early-generation professional dive watch. Despite decades of use, the watch has been well cared for and retains the classic character collectors look for.
Case & Bezel:
The stainless steel case shows light to moderate surface wear consistent with age but no major dents or deep scratches. The original bevels may be softened, yet the case still presents well. The rotating bezel functions smoothly and retains its original insert with natural vintage fading.
Dial & Hands:
The matte dial is clean, with intact tritium markers that have aged to a warm, even patina. Hands match the dial lume closely, maintaining the watch’s cohesive vintage look. Text and printing on the dial remain sharp.
Crystal:
The original domed acrylic crystal shows minor surface marks typical for its age, but clarity is still good. Scratches do not significantly affect visibility.
Movement:
